![]() ![]() ![]() I could handle even those by buffing my defense, using the defiance aura of my paladin and giving the right equipment to my Act 1 mercenary. They are so insanely fast that they just appear next to me without giving any time to react. They insta-killed me with their explosions when they died next to me. The worst kind of enemies I encountered were the Stygian Dolls in Nightmare Act 3. I don’t necessarily think that they are bugs, maybe the designers of the game wanted the players to be able to kill them only in tricky ways with ranged weapons or specific properties like knockback and similar. I heard that there are some enemies on hell difficulty that do so insane damage (insta killing you and/or your mercenary) that some people consider it to be a bug. If the poison on Hell difficulty is too strong (I don’t know because I’m still at the beginning of Act 1 on hell difficulty) then you might need antidotes too even if your poison resist is 90% to slow the damage. There might be better and higher level items than the Venom Ward to fight poison but I don’t know about them because I just play the game by discovering things. Being able to heal myself is more important than being able to avoid hits more often. It has much lower defense (~100) than my Spirit Forge (~400) but that doesn’t matter when poison resist is important. In those areas I switch my armour to the Venom Ward. On Nightmare there are already some enemies with poison that lasts for ages and can’t be healed without very high poison resist. I completed the game only on Nightmare difficulty so your situation might be worse than what I encountered. ![]()
